Clinical Counsellor
My name is Karanvir Singh and I’m a Clinical Counsellor. I specialize in assisting individuals from various walks of life to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and navigate the complexities of their daily experiences. My practice is particularly beneficial for those who feel their progress in life is being impeded by anxiety, depression, or unresolved trauma. The privilege of being entrusted with the personal stories of my clients, witnessing their remarkable achievements and supporting them through their most challenging moments, is something I hold in high regard.
Originally from Mumbai, India, I relocated to Vancouver in 2020, which I now proudly call my home. My professional journey began in the training and development sector, where over a decade, I honed my skills in coaching, motivation, and effective communication. This experience laid the groundwork for my transition into the therapeutic field.
Holding a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership, I am currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology. My clinical experience includes working with Relationships, Trauma and PTSD, survivors of sexual abuse in both private practice and non-profit settings, as I work towards becoming a board-certified therapist.
In therapy, my aim is to support your journey towards personal growth by helping you clarify your beliefs and values, thus enabling you to embrace your true self and live more fully. I believe in the inherent ability of each individual to face and overcome their challenges, thereby rewriting their narrative.
